Heaven Forbid the thought should ever cross my mind - but this is a fine way of reminding me it’s a very silly thing to do. Eloquently put.

And immigration is a big issue because it feeds into so many other issues - jobs, crime, the NHS, public services in general. And why are all these issues on the agenda? Is it actually true? Do immigrants get more than their fair share?…
(2) Elizaf - A Tale Of Pot-Bellied Pigs, A Night In The Pub, Ploughed Fields and Friendship…In her mid-40’s she moved to the Cork countryside where she was the terror of every local Romeo who came into the flower shop she worked in. “You are buying ROSES for your girlfriend? Wat hav you done - had ze affair or lost ze imagination??”
(3) Ex-Courtesan In Transition (Again) - True Intimacy…Sadly, my one of my blogfriends felt the need to remove his blog because his wife found it. His blog had been a place where he felt safe to reveal all of himself so I wrote back telling him I hoped he had somewhere in life to get that need met. His response was that “given how multifaceted we can be, is there ever really a single place?”…

(5) Kaliyuga Kronicles - Is That A Javelin In Your Pocket?…Even though I am often diametrically at odds with the opinions expressed therein, I retain a fondness for the Torygraph, and its complete refusal to acknowledge the passing of Queen Victoria. Earlier this week it reported that Hugh “Rubber Johnny” Despenser had been found. Astute readers (i.e. none of you) will recognise the name of Hughie from an earlier article here in which I reported that he had been nominated as one of the greatest 10 villains in British history…
(6) No Rock and Roll Fun - Wouldn’t You Rather Be Watching Torchwood? …”Tomorrow’s tabloids in the making” promises the continuity announcement, with what we can only assume are fingers crossed. Mika’s up first, then, doing a song that feels about four years old already. The giant finch hanging from the stage is a nice touch, mind. For some reason he’s dressed as a matador. This year’s Scissor Sisters, isn’t it?
(7) Rage and Biscuits - The SAS, Well Kind Of…No, I’m not talking bout the Special Air Service. This is something more stealthy and possibly more deadly. Slimy Ass Slugs…
(8) Random Reality - A Quiet AcceptanceI’m afraid I’m having problems linking to this, the address is www.randomreality.blogware.com and the post is as titled - I will come back later and see if it’s working again…
(9) This Is This - Which Was Nice…The flight home was delayed which turned us into the last flight out of Nice that evening, when who should be checking in at the same time as me but Little Britain’s David Walliams.

I’m no gym rat. Sometimes, in fact, I’ll go months without seeing the inside of a gym. Then, my ass starts jiggling during sex, so I’ll hit the gym for a few months until everything’s nice and tight. Then I stop. For a couple months.

I can’t fathom having the inclination to go to the gym (stoned or otherwise), but I might be tempted to join a class with Tanya.

Is this what gyms are like? I have to start going. I also particularly liked “One Sunday, I was watching an elderly chimp doing karate on YouTube and eating Nacho flavored Bugles when I realized something. God, I thought. I am a waste of space.”
