Blogging at its finest - bit of history, bit of politics, fabulous linkage, not to mention great writing - Diamond Geezer’s Has Beans
love enidd’s enidtopia: http://www.enidd.com/?p=121
I was going to nominate Edidd!! But Edvard beat me to it!! I second Enidd: any of her posts!!

Glitter For Brains: The Milky Bar Kid Is Strong And Tough.
I want to nominate Elisabeth Ice Cream’s post:
Let’s talk about sex: under pressure.
I loved the way she tells about teenage pressure on high- school, and it’s all so honest. I really recognize myself in it.
The blog is called Jeusus is coming, look busy! I just find that wonderful=)
- Anna
Smaller Than Life: Lyrics vs Logic #1. Brilliant, even if I do question some of the mathematical modelling (see comments).
Funny Thing of toxicsoup for 30 bikes. Amusing and educational. I finally think I understand the definition of an anorak–not the article of clothing, the person.
I’d like to nominate Meg’s Keep on Moving, which reminded me far too much of the many moves I’ve done…
And also Anna’s Photo Phursday: Safety in bumblers, which made me laugh.
Emulating Hemingway is not all it’s cracked up to be, apparently:

Read it and shrug!
Nick, are you working on commission or something? ;-)
Some people just get plain old boring writer’s block, not Unreliable Witness, who’s being overwhelmed by a swarm of words which have gatecrashed.

I’m not sure it qualifies as a ‘blog’, but Anna’s running review of Episode One of The Apprentice has made me laugh out loud in the office…
Don’t Call Me Joe: Sunday Morning (via rural Yorkshire circa 1992). Brand new blog, discovered by accident, and only his third post.
Little Red Boat: Leaning on a lampost at the corner of the street (until my beloved stops playing the fucking ukulele and it’s safe to return home). I share Anna’s allergy to “Streets of London”.
extraordinarily beautiful words. heartfelt. as this writers words and thoughts always are. i was moved to tears as i read and read and read some more. earthbound by unreliable witness
Johnnie Reeves, get it up!

Take yourself on a trip back to the early sixties and a new act is just about to begin….
Has that been posted before ? ooops!!
Sir, I assure you that I am not! I do not think the dear lady could afford to pay me as she leads a very simple and reduced life at present, as chronicled via her weblog.
Her courage in the face of adversity (to use a tired cliche, and show you why I do not write a weblog myself) is admirable and I often marvel at the way she looks at life.
Take this for example (and please regard it as another nomination):

I’m not really one for these blogs as a sensitivity contest normally, but solely to bring it to a wider audience I’d like to nominate Clare’s direct and almost verbatim report of a very significant moment in her life recently at http://www.claresudbery.purple.....tures.html
I second Looby, with a lump in my throat.
Elsewhere, Yaxlich has produced another gem with this:

I was going to add clare’s post if looby hadn’t. Thirded.
Bitchy Jones’s Diary: ‘Text Maniac’
Hilarious.
