  1. Bob

Trailer Park Refugee’s Meeting Survival 101 almost (and *almost* being the key word) made me miss having to go to business meetings and finding new ways to pass the time.

  2. Katy Newton

Two nominations from me this week.

    1. My esteemed and noble colleague of French Canadia, Le Singe Non Travaillant, for this public service announcement, a copy of which I intend to print out and keep in my filofax for easy categorisation purposes; and

    2. The post that inspired it, by the highly entertaining and not remotely dorkish Wendy.

  9. Dandelion

Contraband at I Hate The Earth.

Kept me gripped, yes, made me laugh, yes, brilliantly written, yes, and a fantastic story to boot. Go on, vote for it, you know you want to.

A ridiculously good piece of writing. Somehow - and this is approaching the status of a miracle - the writer manages to make competitive rowing sound utterly absorbing. Breathless, frenetic, funny - a beautifully crafted and searingly honest piece of writing. Sensual, too. Vote for it or risk feeling kind of stupid and left out. (Please)
